Call In Show-Mitchell Rabin Speaks About Relationships
Monday, May 21, 6pm EDT: Today’s show will be Mitchell Rabin speaking about the psychology of and magic in relationships, which is the fundamental basis of all that happens in this world. Whether it’s a lover, spouse, friend or business partner, understanding relationships, being present in them, knowing how to negotiate them, becomes the source of Heaven or Hell.
Virtually all stress, to ourselves and our environment, originates somewhere in the quality–or lack thereof–of our relationships.
Mitchell goes so far as to suggest that when relationships are mature, loving, compassionate and fine-tuned between husband and wife, lovers, and on, this sets the tone for our behavior in the world.
When we are in integrity in our primary relationships, joy radiates into all we do. When there is a breakdown in integrity, so is there, quite literally, a disintegration in all else.
Communication is key and discussing the nature of quality communication is the subject of today’s show.
There will be time for call-ins as well, for the audience to share what is going on in relationship in their personal and professional lives, and can gain some counsel on these by Mitchell, long-time Holistic Psychotherapist, Stress Management Consultant, environmentalist, with a background in acupuncture, T’ai-Chi, Chi-Kung and both Eastern & Western Wisdom Traditions.
Mitchell is also an entrepreneur, primarily in wellness, green-tech & sustainability projects, working to establish wellness, renewable resources for energy & a sustainable society for our planet.
Mitchell also writes for the Huffington Post, Natural News & PRN while finishing a book on the idea of Sacred Stewardship. A book published this spring, Heart at Work, has a chapter of his in it

Monday, April 23, 6pm EDT: This evening’s radio show is honoring the Earth and Earth Day. My guests are Gaia, Mother Earth Herself and Inventor Rock Ridgeway.
I will focus on the Environment–what we’ve done to our beautiful Earth, the dire consequences of this mindless destruction, and what we can do about it. This will also include a psychological analysis of man’s quest for power, in the forms of money, prestige and unbridled drive toward dominance and acquisition.
I have been an environmentalist and an activist since a young teen, long before I could drive. My father was kind enough to drive me to demonstrations in Bridgeport, Ct. near where I lived from an early age. I couldn’t believe what people were willing to do to our environment for the sake of profit.
My work as a therapist was always informed by my appreciation of Deep Ecology and through my own work, gave rise to a form of eco-psychology, a form of spiritual psychology rooted in deep reverence and celebration of the Sacred Earth Mother. These will be discussed on today’s show.
Today’s guest for the second half of the show is inventor Rock Ridgeway. Rock was a student of Buckminster Fuller and followed in the traditional of the non-conventional, the imaginal and the inspired path that Bucky blazed in his own life. Taking the idea of an innovative sleeping bag, it morphed into a series of articles of clothes, a hat and shelter. Can you imagine fashioning your own home such that you wouldn’t have to buy one and be strapped into a mortgage or rent? This is a potential future that’s being designed as we speak. Today’s show begins to blaze and map the future.
There will be time for call-ins at 888 874-4888
Green Party Presidential Candidate, Jill Stein, M.D.
A Better World is committed to bringing choices to our audiences on all levels, and of course, including the shaping of our Body Politic. It has clearly veered out of control, its elected and appointed officials have broken their sworn oath to uphold the Constitution and it appears that it is only in 3rd Party candidates that we see any hope of getting our government back to Democratic governance while respecting civil rights, human rights and the environment all at the same time.
In light of this, we have invited the Green Party Presidential candidate, Jill Stein, M.D. to be today’s guest, and to really explore the issues the corporate candidates desperately avoid.
Dr. Jill Stein is a mother, housewife, physician, longtime teacher of internal medicine, and pioneering environmental-health advocate.
She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1973, and from Harvard Medical School in 1979.
Dr. Stein is the co-author of two widely-praised reports, In Harm’s Way: Toxic Threats to Child Development, published in 2000, and Environmental Threats to Healthy Aging, published in 2009.
The first of these has been translated into four languages and is used worldwide. The reports promote green local economies, sustainable agriculture, clean power, and freedom from toxic threats.
Her “Healthy People, Healthy Planet” teaching program reveals the links between human health, climate security, and green economic revitalization. This body of work has been presented at government, public health and medical conferences, and has been used to improve public policy.
Jill began to advocate for the environment as a human health issue in 1998 when she realized that politicians were simply not acting to protect children from the toxic threats emerging from current science. She offered her services to parents, teachers, community groups and a native Americans group seeking to protect their communities from toxic exposure.
In 2008, Jill helped formulate a “Secure Green Future” ballot initiative that called upon legislators to accelerate efforts to move the Massachusetts economy to renewable energy and make development of green jobs a priority. The measure won over 81 per cent of the vote in the 11 districts in which it was on the ballot.
Join us today to learn about this 3rd Party candidate’s platform as she shares with Mitchell the direction she and the Green Party want to take this country.
Call in show – Degradation of The American Society
Today Mitchell will speak about some of the weakest links in our society, from 11,000,000 children here in the wealthiest nation going to bed hungry every night, to tent cities across America, to bearing witness to the injustices we see in our society about race, ethnicity, gender, age. And then on to the atrocities of what is called our medical system, which actually mocks real healthcare, which should always be holistic in approach. In short, we will look at the systemic degradation of a society, which parallels the downfall of Rome, top-heavy and collapsing.
