Improve eyesight educator, John Monroe and Dr. Nicholas Samstag, clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst

John MonroeMonday, Feb. 20, 6pm EST: This evening is going to be an Improve Eyesight Roundtable, an exploration on the subject of what’s the cause of eyesight problems, both physically and psychologically, as well as solutions to this vast issue facing us as a society–in fact, it’s become so pandemic, we don’t even realize how much of a problem deteriorating eyesight has generally become.

Our first guest, along with a few of his clients, was a colleague of Deborah Banker, M.D., Ophthalmologist, John Monroe, who has worked with Dr. Banker beginning in 1992 and through her passing and has been both continuing and advancing her work. Dr. Banker was very studied in alternative approaches to improving eyesight as well as healing serious eye diseases, having developed her own healing technologies and protocols over the course of many years.

Due to her innovations, John gives workshops around the country and has had thousands of successful results with clients, from helping them drop reading glasses to exercises for serious retinal diseases. Several clients of his will speak of their healing using these methods.

Nicholas SamstagIn the latter part of the show, clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst, Dr. Nicholas Samstag will join Mitchell in a dialogue examining possible underlying psycho-emotional issues, emotional stress and conflicts that may also be causal or at least influential in visual disorders.

Dr. Samstag specializes in long-term analytic treatment of adults, as well as couples therapy.

Dr. Samstag has been in private practice for over 15 years and is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology at New York University’s Graduate School of Arts and Science. He has published articles and book reviews on psychoanalytic theory and is interested in the interactions of unconscious, conscious, and environmental factors in the creation of pathogenesis.

See into seeing in tonight’s Roundtable, and gain both a psychological perspective as well as practical understanding of the visual field to improve eyesight and insight.

Foster Gamble, Pres. of Clear Compass Media, Creator, Host, Co-Writer & Director of Visual Design for Thrive

Foster GambleMonday, Feb. 6, 6pm EST:

Mitchell will be interviewing President & Co-Founder of Clear Compass Media; Creator, Host, Co-Writer, and Director of Visual Design for THRIVE, Foster Gamble.

Check out Thrive on Amazon

At age 14, Foster Gamble had a vision where he glimpsed what he perceived to be the Universe’s fundamental energy pattern. He spent the next 35 years trying to figure out the details and implications of what he had seen. That quest took two paths: a scientific journey and an exploration of the human potential to navigate successfully through the challenges threatening our survival. THRIVE represents the convergence of these two paths.

While at Princeton University, Foster helped to create their first film-making department. At the time, the emergence of a global media delivery system seemed likely, and Foster’s love of film combined with his concern for the planet inspired him to focus on what would be the most critical content to one day deliver through that system.

In his search for a way out of our violence and demise, Foster discovered Aikido – the non-violent martial art – which proved for him the possibility of being simultaneously powerful and gentle. He earned a third degree black belt and trained in and taught Aikido for 15 years.

Applying Aikido principles to daily life informed Foster’s professional career: He created a training and technology company, MindCenter, that employed brainwave biofeedback to help people learn how to manage stress and to tune their consciousness. He also created Interaction Dynamics, a training program for mastering skills in communication, team-building and conflict resolution for couples, business teams, schools and families across the United States. He combined Aikido energy principles and mind fitness techniques in Zonesport Training, which tapped his passion for sports in helping high level athletes to enhance their performance. Addressing the demands of balancing his own personal, family and professional lives led Foster to create a program called LifeBalance.

Furthering his exploration of what was keeping humanity from thriving, Foster spent nearly a decade “following the money” in every sector of human endeavor. The process revealed an understanding of our predicament that led him to create the strategic solutions offered in THRIVE. Foster’s exploration of “living geometry” – how nature builds the “material” world, came to fruition in 1997 when he co-convened the Sequoia Symposium, a multi-disciplinary scientific think tank exploring perspectives on “Unification Theory.”

There, the primary patterning that the universe uses to sustain healthy systems was clarified and cohered, as was its use as a blueprint for us to design sustainable, all-inclusive technologies and social systems. This discovery represents the convergence of science and the evolution of consciousness that Foster set out to explore after his initial vision, and is the “code” that is featured in the documentary film, THRIVE, and on this website.

Join Mitchell as he engages Foster in what will be a lively interview around subjects about which both are impassioned.

Presidential candidate for the Justice Party, Rocky Anderson

Rocky AndersonMonday, January 9, 6pm EDT: For a second time, Mitchell has invited Presidential candidate for the Justice Party, Rocky Anderson, to be his guest for the full show, to discuss points not discussed in the first interview.

Take a moment to review Rocky’s extraordinary success and credentials as a public figure: Rocky Anderson served two terms as the 33rd Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, (2000-2008).[1] He is the Executive Director of High Road for Human Rights.[2] Prior to serving as Mayor, he practiced law for 21 years in Salt Lake City, during which time he was listed in Best Lawyers in America, was rated A-V (highest rating) by Martindale-Hubbell, served as Chair of the Utah State Bar Litigation Section[3] and was Editor-in-Chief of, and a contributor to, Voir Dire legal journal.[4]

As Mayor, Anderson rose to nationwide prominence as a champion of several national and international causes, including climate protection, immigration reform, restorative criminal justice, GLBT rights, and an end to the “war on drugs”. Before and after the invasion by the U.S. of Iraq in 2003, Anderson was a leading opponent of the invasion and occupation of Iraq and related human rights abuses. Anderson was the only mayor of a major U.S. city who advocated for the impeachment of President George W. Bush, which he did in many venues throughout the United States.

Anderson’s work and advocacy led to local, national, and international recognition in numerous spheres, including being named by Business Week as one of the top twenty activists in the world on climate change[5], serving on the Newsweek Global Environmental Leadership Advisory Board[6], and being recognised by the Human Rights Campaign as one of the top ten straight advocates in the United States for GLBT equality.[7] He has also received numerous awards for his work, including the EPA Climate Protection Award,[8] the Sierra Club Distinguished Service Award,[9] the Respect the Earth Planet Defender Award, the National Association of Hispanic Publications Presidential Award,[10] The Drug Policy Alliance Richard J. Dennis Drugpeace Award[11], the Progressive Democrats of America Spine Award,[12] the League of United Latin American Citizens Profile in Courage Award,[13] the Bill of Rights Defense Committee Patriot Award,[14] the Code Pink (Salt Lake City) Pink Star honor, the Morehouse University Gandhi, King, Ikeda Award, and the World Leadership Award for environmental programs.[15]

Formerly a member of the Democratic Party, Anderson expressed his disappointment with that Party in 2011,[16] stating “(t)he Constitution has been eviscerated while Democrats have stood by with nary a whimper. It is a gutless, unprincipled party, bought and paid for by the same interests that buy and pay for the Republican Party.”[17] Anderson announced his intention to run for President in 2012 as a candidate for the newly-formed Justice Party. [18]

Mitchell’s first interview with Rocky, conducted the week after his announcement for his candidacy has been widely enjoyed as we discussed the national health care, NDAA, 9-11, the role of the Constitution in the past few administrations and financial reform.

Monday evening’s interview will include campaign finance reform, taking the money out of politics, foreign policy, government’s role in education, the role and vital, as well as historical importance of independent parties and on.

Astrology Roundtable with Monty Taylor & Arun Singh

Monty-TaylorMonday, January 2, 2012, 6pm EDT: Due to the holiday, the studio will be closed so we are re-airing a recent show which was Astrology Roundtable East & West on 2012. Mitchell’s guests today are renowned Jungian Astrologer Monty Taylor representing the Western perspective, and Vedic Astrologer, with a bevy of Bollywood clients and many more, Arun Singh representing the East.

Arun SinghThrough this Roundtable, you will glimpse the energies and confluences of the future, this upcoming, highly-discussed and long-awaited year of 2012. There are conjunctions which occur once every few hundred years beginning now and growing in potency during 2012, and several of the slow-moving, outer planets, overlapping each other. It is fascinating to review these conjunctions in conjunction with historical events and periods.

Curiously, in some ways, our time could be called “The Fall of Rome Revisited…” so we are positioned to take “The High Road” when it comes to the choices before us.

Tune in and receive an awesome education about now & 2012 from two differing but highly-related, complementary astrological points of view.

Interesting also is that this marks the first show of A Better World of the New Year of 2012.
