Dr. Deborah Banker’s Natural Vision Improvement

Deborah Banker, M.D., an ophthalmologist/general practitioner was a national and internationally know lecturer on health and vision improvement. We will be presenting an intensive course to teach people how to get their vision, body, and face back into shape.

Included in the course is Dr. Banker’s Home Study Vision Improvement Kit, “Self Help Vision Care,” which consists of a manual, 1 DVD and 4 CDs and 9 vision exercise charts.

Unlike many other eye doctors, Dr. Banker has long recognized that the health of the entire body, as well as, nutrition and attitude, have a great deal to do with vision, energy of the body, and the aging process. Dr. Banker has spent 20 years researching this subject by exploring Western, Oriental and Holistic techniques. We work with people both in group sessions and on an individual basis.  We also cover exercises for your body and your eyes including Yoga, Tai Chi,  general toning and stretching. The eye exercises used originate from all over the world (i.e., Bates, Ayurvedic, Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese and classic Western orthoptics). Also included are acupressure, shiatsu, kinesiology, polarity, reflexology, auricular therapy, manual energy transfer, massage, hot packs, body soaks, and much more.

We work by reducing the lens of your glasses as you improve and teach you how to then continue on with your local open-minded eye doctor. Once you understand about your glasses and what they actually do, you and your doctor can make intelligent decisions as to your eye care.

We concentrate on lifestyle changes to bring you back into balance. Many emotional changes may have caused your visual and physical degradation. We help you move forward. This is not about reliving the past, but creating a better future with better choices. We emphasize reversing negative attitudes and bringing forth the most positive side of ourselves. This takes decisions and maturity of choices. We do this through individual sessions, group therapy, color meditation, visualization, and reprogramming negative thoughts and lifestyles. The negative depletes our life force and the positive enlivens our every cell. We also use acknowledgment, self love, self hypnosis, and insight sessions.  Michio KakuWBAI Pacifica Radio is pleased to announce, for one night only, Dr. Michio Kaku, the world renowned theoretical physicist and futurist, will take you 20, 50, even 100 years into the future at a lecture and book signing event at the New York Society for Ethical Cultural, 2 West 64th Street, Monday May 7th, starting at 6 PM.  In his discussion he will explore the future of medicine, biotech, artificial intelligence, space travel, computers and nano-technology.  All proceeds from the event benefit WBAI Pacifica Radio.

Dr. Michio Kaku is known as the co-creator of string theory and for his research on Einstein’s “Theory of Everything.”  As a precocious youngster he assembled an atom smasher in his parents’ garage for a science fair project.  He hosts Explorations over WBAI Radio 99.5FM in New York, heard on Saturdays at 2pm Eastern, and he has hosted several science specials including Science Channel’s “Visions of the Future,” “Time” and “2057.”

The event is in celebration of the publication of Dr. Kaku’s book The New York Times best-seller Physics of the Future, based on his interviews with over 300 top scientists, now in paperback, and to benefit listener supported, non-commercial radio WBAI Pacifica Radio 99.5FM.

Ms. Laufer-Rottman is the founder of Palms for Life Fund. She is a former employee of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) where she worked for almost 30 years in several senior positions. She has managed anti-poverty projects, large feeding programs, and humanitarian operations in Burkina Faso, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador and Nicaragua. She launched one of the first WFP school feeding programs in the Latin American region in Ecuador, in 1986.

 

In 1997, she held the position of Director for Ecuador for five years and successfully negotiated a $24 million donation from the US government which she leveraged to secure an additional $10 million in government Hannah in Swazilandcounterpart funds, thus allowing the feeding of 1.5 million poor people in the country. Hannah is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese and also speaks Italian, Yiddish, Hebrew, German and Dutch. Hannah has an indefatigable commitment to helping the poor. She is an unconditional supporter of human rights and tolerance.
